Chapel alcoves puzzle room

The Court of Owls have a long hidden history in Gotham city that pre-date the colonization of North America. A secret society that dates back centuries. They have many secret locations throughout Gotham city with secret chambers. In the alcoves of one of many gothic chapels in Gotham, there is one in which the player must solve a puzzle in order to gain access to yet another secret chamber. To gain access to the chamber, the player must orient 4 abstract looking ornements on an alter in front of a strong lightsource. With the proper alignment, these abstract shapes combined create yet another symbol of the court owls in the form of a shadow on the wall. Present on this wall is an old fresco painting depicting members of the Court of Owls in medieval times. Once the player succeeds on completing the puzzle, secret doors open behind the freso wall. In this series I created the fresco painting used in the game as well as the alter and abstract objects. The remainder concept illustrations depict and alternative puzzle in which the player had to find these abstract pieces hidden within 4 dioramas. These dioramas depict the presence and influence of the Court of Owls time inwithin Gotham's history and society.
